Davido Is Over A Billion Naira Richer Than Wizkid

Tho it has been heavily debated for years, it has been finally revealed that Davido has the edge over Wizkid in terms of personal wealth.

The Nigerian music industry has taken an upward swing ever since the turn of the millennia, with artiste raking in millions from shows and endorsement deals. The biggest of the bunch are the two heavyweights, Wizkid and Davido who put their differences aside late last year to round off a very successful 2017.

While both can boast of a hoard of awards and worldwide fan base, the question of who has a bigger net worth?, still remain pending until now.

Wizkid started his music career at the age of 11 since then he garnered a list of sponsors, investors and became the brand ambassador for one or two blue-chip companies. His net worth by the end of 2017 was estimated to be $12m(N4.3bn) according to TUKO News.

Davido on the other hand was born in Atlanta before moving back to Lagos, although he did not start as young as Wizkid, he has quickly garnered enough wealth to shove the starboy singer behind him, with an estimated netwoth of $16m(N5.7bn) due to incomes from his Tour, Concerts and Endorsement deals. He also runs two labels, co owning, HKN and his personal, DMW.
